When does the registration open? Until when can I register?
The registration opens May 3. For presenting participants, the abstract submission deadline is July 15, for regular participants registration is open until August 30.

What is included in the regular/presenting participant ticket?

How much does the conference ticket cost? 
Tickets for regular participants cost 80€, tickets for presenting participants cost 100€. 

Is accommodation included in the ticket price?
Unfortunately not. However, Berlin offers though a broad range of hostels with fair pricing for compared to other European capitals. Just make sure you book in time.

How does the ESC-Contest work?

Can I present case studies or literature research at the ESC-Contest? 

Unfortunately, no. 

Can I submit more than one abstract?

Unfortunately, only one abstract per person can be submitted.

What if there's more than one author of a study?

Regarding the ESC Poster Contest, we have following regulations regarding the authorship of a study 

  • Only one author can register as Presenting Participant (other authors can register as Regular Participants).
  • Only one author (the one registered as Presenting Participant) can present the poster and receive the certificate.
  • On the poster itself, more than one author can be mentioned.
  • Also, more than one author can be mentioned in the abstract book - for this, simply enter all the necessary author and co-author names during abstract submission. (Please note: personal and institutional details are required for all co-authors as well!)

How large should the poster be?

The poster should be of size DIN A0 (portrait). You can find helpful tricks for poster design here

The conference will take place at Charité Campus Benjamin-Franklin, Hindenburgdamm 30, 12203 Berlin.

What will the social programme consist of?  
We have a wide range of activities to suit everyone's taste, regardless of you being a Berliner by birth or for the first time in Europe. Best of all, the cost has already been included in your ticket. Social Program
